Sting Rays Swim Clinic

Come join the Swim Reedsburg Sting Rays and Pam B during the month of March for a 3 day swim clinic - March 14, 21 and 24. Each day we will specifically work on one of the following strokes: Breast, Back and Fly. This is a great time to perfect your technique!

Get our early bird price of $30.00 if you

Pam is a graduate from the University of WI – Oshkosh with a degree in Education, swimming with the University’s swim team. She enjoys working with children!

Fun Easter Basket Idea

Are you looking for something new and original for your child's Easter basket this year!?! We just got in some new, fun A3 Goggles that are great for the beginner swimmer. They have a no adjust soft silicone strap and gasket to allow for a secure fit without the adjusting. We have 4 fun colors to choose from, pink/purple, blue/green, blue/black and black. We will be offering a special price on these goggles until April 6, 2012. These goggles won't be displayed until after Easter so ask for the Easter goggles at the front desk if you are interested!

Gentle Yoga with Jocelyn

Jocelyn Miller is back to teach her much sought after Gentle Yoga class. She will start again on March 7th at 9:00 AM. Her class lasts for one hour. We have a limited number of yoga mats for those attending the class and Jocelyn also asks that you bring a one to two thick towels. You can drop in at a rate of $10.00 or a month membership is $34.00. See our membership link for a description of our different memberships. We can't wait to see you in Jocelyn's class!

Partner's for Wellness and Swim Reedsburg are offering FREE Family Swim

Swim Reedsburg is honoring Valentine’s Day with a FREE family swim on February 10^th from 6 to 8pm. Just mention Partners for Wellness at the front desk to enjoy up to 2 hours of Swim Reedsburg pool water warmth. This will be a fun filled event for the whole family. Swim Reedsburg has noodles and other pool toys for everyone to enjoy. They also have life jackets available for your younger children. Children younger than 18 must be accompanied into the pool area by a responsible adult. Children younger than 6 years of age or under 48" in height must be directly supervised in the water by an adult who is within a distance of an arm's length at all times.

As Swim Reedsburg is always attempting to help the community, all families are encouraged to bring in one or two items to donate to the food pantry. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Biggest Loser Body Age Challenge

Swim Reedsburg's next Biggest Loser Challenge starts tomorrow (Wednesday, February 1st). Join us for the opening meeting at 4:45. At this meeting we will complete the beginning weigh-in and Body-Age survey. You will also receive multiple tools to help your journey in this challenge be a successful one. The cost is $15.00 for current members and $65.00 for non-members (this price includes a membership for the 6 weeks). Call ASAP with any questions!

FREE Swimming Lesson

We are offering a FREE swimming lesson on Sunday evening at 5:00 in the Parent-tot class on January 22, 2012. Children must be between the ages of 3 months and 4 years and one parent (or grandparent) is required to be in the water to hold your child. This is a fun way to introduce your child to swimming!

Hello Swimming Families,
We all are working hard at sprucing up Swim Reedsburg. The painters have been working on the pool walls and will need to cover all of the beautiful fish and waves on the walls. We think it will look a little plain, but better because all of the loose paint has been removed. A special thank you to all of the people who helped with the mural the first time around.

The water is now up to 65 degrees and the pool cover is on to help retain the heat and moisture. We are on target to open up on the 8th for the next session of lessons and if we are lucky; then we will open a little earlier for all of you hardy lap swimmers.

The showers are running and the fountains are working. Thank you Poppa! You are the best Maintenance Supervisor ever!

The pool water is already at 87degrees. Darrel is our first swimmer of the day and he said, "The water is fine, come on in."

All classes are on as scheduled. We will be offering make-up classes for those who have missed because of the electricity problem.

We have electricity!!! The pool water is a little chilly and the showers don't work yet, but we have lights, the pumps and exhaust work! We are up and running! See everyone at the 8:30am gentle water aerobics class!

Our Fall Trimester of swim lessons started on September 6th. If you are interested in getting your child in lessons with us for the Fall, contact us by email, phone or stop in to find out what classes we still have available! We also have availabilities open on our Home and Elite Swim Teams. If your child can swim one length of the pool and is looking for a fun way to meet new friends along with a new way to explore swimming; swim team is a great option!
